Our partnership began in 2016, based on our shared values of hard work, passion for hand-made quality without compromise, and a mission of giving back to our communities.
Since then, we have managed to provide tens of thousands of better night sleeps to Canadians that are struggling or have fallen on hard times. Our social impact promise is for each 10 sales we donate 1 #SafeHaven mattress to charity - the first and only Canadian company to make this commitment to improving mental health though better sleep. In 2018, we partnered to deliver relief packages and mattress donations to those affected by Hurricane Dorian on South Andros Island in the Bahamas.
The Baeumlers took on their biggest renovation project yet in 2019, restoring a rundown resort into the 5-star Caerula Mar Club. They commissioned Haven's team of sleep engineers to design a highly comfortable mattress to match the resort's quality standards and initiative for using locally sourced, eco-friendly materials. In 2020, that resort mattress became our top selling item, sold to the public as the Haven LUX Hybrid Pillowtop.
Through our collaboration efforts and commitment to hand-made Canadian quality, Haven became an industry leader with the highest customer loyalty rate of any mattress brand.
In 2022 Sarah and the bedding team are collaborating on a new line of bedding, pillows and sleep accessories to complement our luxury line-up.

At Haven, we make our mattress fresh-to-order, by hand, and with only the highest quality plant-based materials. The LUX Hybrid was designed to deliver the highest degree of contour to the sleeper's body shape. With use and time, once the bed is properly broken in, these intended body impressions in the pillowtop surface will further reduce the pressure on the hips and shoulders. This body impression will become visible to the eye in time. It will not affect the long-term durability of the mattress or your warranty coverage.

1. Bamboo Top Cover
Bamboo is a sustainable and renewable resource that has incredible benefits. In Haven's top-cover fabric, bamboo lends breathability and moisture-wicking properties, aiding temperature control.
2. Cool-Gel, Slow Sink Foam
No more disruption in the night from waking up too hot. The LUX Hybrid Pillowtop's Cool-Gel layer is a soy-based foam that pulls excess body heat away as you sleep, and provides a cooling, contouring, “sinking” feeling that responds to the sleeper’s shape.
3. Vented Talalay Latex
Talalay latex is a natural and plant-based, breathable material, sourced from the rubber tree. Fully vented to improve air-flow and infused with real Copper, our latex delivers advanced cooling you won't find in a memory foam bed. It's also 7 times more breathable than Dunlop latex, making it the most breathable latex available.
4. Natural Copper
Our Talalay latex is infused with real flecks of Copper. Why? Its high thermal conductivity allows heat to pass through it quickly, making it an excellent addition to our cooling technology.
5. Open-Cell Foams
Our soy-based, open-cell bio-foams have exceptional ventilation, allowing moisture and heat to escape. Less heat buildup means longer, more restful sleep, and a cleaner sleep environment.

Haven is committed to keeping all of our customers informed during this unprecedented global health crisis. As the conditions and regulations evolve and change, we will continue to update the information below. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to the customer service team with any questions.
We remain open for business while the majority of our team are working from home. The safety of all staff is paramount and will always come first. We are attentively monitoring ongoing developments and will continue to support them to the best of our ability.
We are currently able to deliver in 10-14 business days for free. For your peace of mind, we no longer require signatures for proof of delivery. We deliver to your door and will let you know when your product has arrived. At this time, we do not anticipate any delays to our delivery operations.
As our mattresses are made right here in Canada, we’ve made sure all recommended procedures are implemented within our production facilities while continuing production without delays. We have shortened our production day to allow our staff more time for cleaning and rest. We’re following advice from the World Health Organization and local health authorities and all our packaging staff have uninterrupted access to hand sanitizer and personal protective equipment where required and relevant.
Customers must still register with Haven customer care to start this process. Depending on your city, there may be delays for picking up mattresses from customer homes. As communities reduce restrictions on travel and direct contact, appointments between our trucking companies and customers will resume at our preferred level of service. Customers with an opened and confirmed return or warranty claim will be notified with a pick up appointment. If restrictions mean that pick ups must be delayed past 100 nights, customers with a verified return within 100 nights will be honoured. Requests made after 100 nights will not.
We are working hard to put health and wellness at the front of everything we do. Our Safe Haven 10:1 charity donation is operational but we are prioritizing donations to front-line health care workers quarantined from their families.
