Bamboo quilting - a deep, plush surface that sleeps cool and helps wick away moisture. *can be spot cleaned, but we do recommend a waterproof protector.
Copper Foam™ - naturally antimicrobial, draws the body heat away. Plush and contour without the memory foam, sink in or overheating. This is the same eco-friendly material found in our upper level Havens.
808 zoned pocket coils - Like a premium adult mattress, the Junior is zoned firmer under the hips, gentler at the shoulders. This aids in proper spine alignment. ideal to support growing bodies.
Updated yarn with more LYCRA™ — a cover that stretches and recovers instead of bunching.
Junior is designed for roughly ages 5 to 16, for kids who've outgrown their first bed and are heading into growth spurts. It's 8.5" and hybrid, with real coils underneath. For toddlers, top bunks and trundles, Haven also makes a lower 6" all-foam mattress, Haven Kids.
Height 8.5". Works on platforms, slats, adjustable bases and box spring foundations. Bunk-safe where the guard rail sits above the mattress surface. Check frame manufactures for details.
Twin 39" × 75" · Twin XL 39" × 80" · Double/Full 54" × 75". Ships compressed and boxed.
01 — Three details you can feel
Press a hand into it and you'll feel it before you read a word.

Detail 01 · Surface
A deep, plush quilt that feels like a grown-up mattress. Bamboo wicks moisture and sleeps cool, so the softness never turns into heat.
Detail 02 · Comfort layer
Copper is naturally antimicrobial and conducts heat away from the body. Built into the foam, so it never washes out.
Detail 03 · Cover
A stretch-knit cover flexes with the foam and the sleeper, then snaps back. No bunching, no sagging fabric: it holds its shape through years. We do not condone "monkeys jumping on the bed".
02 — Zoned for a body that keeps changing
Over 40% of a sleeper's weight sits at the hips. Junior's coil system is firmer there and gentler at the shoulders, so the spine stays level whether your kid is 45 lb or 145. Hover or tap a zone.

Zone 1 — Shoulders
Softer coils let the shoulder settle into the quilt instead of propping it up. It's the difference between a side sleeper who wakes rested and one who wakes with a numb arm.
Zone 2 — Hips & lower back
Firmer, denser coils stop the hips from dropping, which is what keeps a growing spine straight through the night. It's the part of a kid's bed that gives out first, and the part Junior reinforces most.
Zone 3 — Legs
Gentler coils under the legs reduce pressure behind the knees and ankles. Because every coil is individually wrapped, a 2 a.m. roll-over doesn't travel across a sleepover.

03 — Why copper, in a kid's bed
Copper is one of the oldest antimicrobial materials we know; it's why hospitals use it on bed rails and door handles. In Junior's Copper Foam™ it does two quiet jobs every night: it helps resist the bacteria, mould and odour that build up in a kid's mattress, and it pulls heat away from a sleeper who runs hot.
Naturally antimicrobial
Helps limit bacteria, mould and mildew growth inside the mattress, so it stays fresher between sheet changes.
Conducts heat away
Copper is highly thermally conductive. It moves body heat out of the foam instead of storing it.
Never washes out
The copper is part of the foam itself, not a spray or a treatment, so it lasts the life of the bed.
04 — The years it's built for
The warranty is ten years. So is the stretch of childhood Junior was designed to cover.
Age 6
Out of the toddler bed and into something that feels like yours. Softer surface, easy to climb into.
Age 9
Two kids, one bed, a lot of whispering. Pocket coils keep one roll-over from waking the other.
Age 12
Four inches in a year, growing pains at night. The zoned hips hold alignment while everything else is changing.
Age 16
Homework, headphones, a basketball by the bed. Copper keeps it fresh, and the coils haven't softened into a hammock.
05 — Fits the room they have
At 8.5", Junior sits like a proper mattress on a standard frame without swallowing a small room, and it still fits most of the furniture a kid's bedroom already has.
Platforms, slats & adjustables. Every standard frame, box spring foundation included.
Most bunks and lofts. Check the guard rail clears the surface by 5". If it doesn't, our lower 6" Haven Kids is the safer pick up top.
Daybeds & captain's beds. Twin and Twin XL drop straight into most drawer frames.
Standard sheets fit. Any regular-depth Twin, Twin XL or Double sheet set. No deep-pocket hunting.
Everything for a great night in their first grown-up bed. Sheets, waterproof protection, calming pillow spray, and a stuffed companion to bring along.
Soft, durable, and cut for the 8.5" profile, with corners that stay put through tossing, turning, and the occasional full-bed spin.
The non-negotiable for kids' beds. Quiet, breathable, and machine-washable, with waterproof protection for spills, accidents, and everything else that comes with growing up.
A calming mist that turns lights-out into a little nightly ritual.
Because a new bed needs a new roommate. A little something to make the grown-up bed feel instantly theirs.
06 — Find their fit
Haven builds two mattresses for children. Junior is the 8.5" hybrid, a plush quilted top over real pocket coils, made for the second half of childhood, roughly ages 6 to 16.

1 844 694 2836Roughly 6 to 16, from the first "real bed" through high school. For children under six, top bunks or trundles, Haven also makes a lower 6" all-foam kids' mattress. If your child is in between, choose Junior: it's the one they won't outgrow.
Yes. Copper is a naturally occurring mineral, and in Junior it's bound into a CertiPUR-US® certified foam layer beneath the quilted cover, not a coating your child touches. It's the same reason copper is used on hospital surfaces and in water pipes.
The softness is in the quilted surface, the top inch or so. Underneath, 808 pocket coils do the supporting, and they're zoned firmer through the hips where most of the body's weight sits. Comfort on top, alignment below.
On the bottom bunk, always. On top, measure first: the guard rail should sit at least 5" above the mattress surface. Most bunks rated for mattresses up to 9" are fine; if yours isn't, Haven Kids at 6" is the safer choice.
Yes. Copper helps with what builds up inside the mattress over time; a waterproof protector handles what gets spilled on it tonight. It also keeps the 10-year warranty intact, and it's included in the Complete Sleep Bundle.
The same night. It ships compressed, unrolls in minutes and reaches full height within hours. Ultra low-VOC materials mean there's no chemical smell to air out first.
