I have been looking for a new pillow for some time and none were good at keeping me from waking up with a sore neck every day. I was very excited to see the special pillow designed for side sleepers. I can only sleep on my side so I was willing to try this pillow despite the exorbitant price when comparing with most other pillows but I didn’t care if it would finally offer me a good nights sleep and figured since they offered a 30 night trial, it was worth trying.

I love the perfect combination of plushness and bounce. I would describe it as a foam pillow and latex pillow combined. I didn’t really notice anything special insofar as any cooling effect of the pillow and still find myself occasionally needing to flip it over through the night as I’m a hot sleeper.

In hindsight I wish I had just bought the regular one vs the Side Sleeper as I don’t enjoy the shoulder cutout as much and find myself most often turning it upside down and sleeping on the full side instead. I suppose for some it would be more suitable and having this version at least gives you either option to choose from.

In summary, while I would never normally spend this much on a pillow, the fact that it’s been offering me more comfort and less pain makes it more than worth it.

I would buy again but would probably go with the regular Universal version.

The pillow is costly. It is very thin and narrow. The Haven pillow cases do not fit properly, they slip off regularly and have inches of extra space both length and width. I would not recommend or purchase these pillows in the future. Comfort is just okay, not great. There are better options on the market in my opinion. I give it two stars due to the eco friendly factor.
